At this time of year Christians in Jerusalem and around the world keep a forty-day period of fasting and prayer for Lent leading up to Holy Week.
- Lord Jesus, we remember how you fasted for forty days as you overcame the temptation in the wilderness before your public ministry began. We are so thankful for your faithfulness. Lord, in your mercy…hear our prayers.
