Last week, Sabeel had a session with Ir Amim to discuss the annexation of the West Bank, specifically the recently approved E1 plan that would separate the West Bank from East Jerusalem and effectively cut the West Bank in half.
Good God, as we witness the actions of empire, we think of the words of Prophet Isaiah: “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed.” (Isaiah 10:1-2) We trust that you are a righteous judge who will deliver us from injustice. Embolden the world to do more than words and take real action to end the occupation.
