Sabeel Nazareth joined an educational trip to Haifa

On May 13th ,  young adults from Sabeel Nazareth joined an educational trip to Haifa. They travelled by bus along part of the historical route of the famous Haifa-Beirut Bus that travelled between the two port cities in the 1920s, 30s, and 40s until the Nakba in 1948. The train which left on a daily basis and travelled close to the Mediterranean Sea was very popular in the 1920s. During the past few years, Palestinian academic Dr. Johnny Mansour has been researching the history of the Haifa – Beirut bus route. Dr. Mansour is a Professor of History at Beit Berl Academic College.
