During Holy Week in Palestine, many people from the Eastern churches gather at night on Holy Thursday to walk Christ’s journey to the cross, remembering the arrest of Jesus and the last supper. During this year’s Holy Week, a group of Palestinian Christians led an initiative to remember and pray for Palestinian Christian siblings in Israeli prisons or who have warrants out for their arrest. Sabeel helped to translate the Arabic brochure and vigil into English. Sabeel invites the international community to use the English version of the brochure (English/Arabic) to pray alongside our communities as we remember all those incarcerated and who cannot welcome Easter with their loved ones.
