Sabeel is a Palestinian Christian organization based in Jerusalem that promotes ecumenical liberation theology and works for justice, peace, reconciliation, and nonviolence through faith-based advocacy, education, and community engagement.

Sabeel’s main office is in Jerusalem, with programs and partnerships that serve communities across the West Bank and Gaza and through international networks.

Sabeel organizes theological education, international conferences and witness visits, advocacy initiatives, community outreach, and publications. Its programs connect local communities with international partners to support justice and solidarity.

Launched in September 2021, the Sabeel Health Insurance Program provides affordable health coverage to Palestinian communities in the West Bank and Gaza. The initiative brings together churches, schools, organizations, businesses, and individuals to ensure wider access to healthcare. Currently, the program includes:Over 2,000 individual participants45 organizations and schoolsMembers from 36 different parishes The program aims to expand to 8,000 participants and continues to grow as a sustainable, community-based solution.

Maqdisi is a Sabeel publication and resource that provides updates, analysis, and insights about Jerusalem, helping readers stay informed about developments affecting the city and its communities.
